Parasaurolophus is a genus of hadrosaurid "duck-billed" dinosaur that lived in what is now western North America and possibly Asia during the Late Cretaceous period, about 76.5–73 million years ago.
This dinosaur had a large crest on its head. On adult males this could be as long as 1.8 metres (6 feet). Scientists think they may have used their crest to make a trumpeting sound to communicate with each other. They could grow to 10 metres (33 feet) in length and weighed 3.5 tons.
Luckily, this plushie version is a little more suited to keeping in your house, at only 39cm in length.
